December 21, 2017 -- Rabbi Eliezer Melamed ascends to Temple Mount.


On Thursday, Orthodox Rabbi Eliezer Melamed went up to the Temple Mount, believing it is permissible to ascend to the mount.  Asaf Fried welcomed Melamed’s ascent saying that this greatly reinforced the redemption of the mount and the return of the Temple.  While many rabbis encourage Jews to go up, there are many who forbid ascending.
