May 23, 2018 -- Israel-Palestine Trip Redux

I visited Israel-Palestine again this year.  This time I stayed in East Jerusalem at the Jerusalem Hotel.  The hotel and restaurant is owned and run by a Palestinian family.  Employees were from both Arab Christian and Moslem backgrounds, which made for some interesting conversations about the present state of affairs in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.  The hotel is located near the so called Garden Tomb and the Damascus Gate in the Old City, both of which are within minutes of walking distance.  I had several goals this trip including visiting the underground tunnels near the western wall, the archeological site near the south west end of the Temple Mount, the Old City of David, and Bethlehem.

I will be posting about my travels for the next week or so, including pictures and videos.  Here are a few pictures from the Jerusalem Hotel.
