I arrived in Israel and took a shuttle from the airport to
Jerusalem. We traveled along Highway
1. I quickly realized that the land was
more beautiful than I anticipated. As we
approached Jerusalem, I was surprised how mountainous the area around Jerusalem
actually is. I will be staying at the
International YMCA in Jerusalem on King David Street directly across from King
David Hotel. During the British Mandate,
portions of the King David Hotel were once the temporary home for the British government
and military leadership. When President Trump visits Jerusalem, he will be staying at the King David Hotel.
